Established in 1990, Powerplan provides engineering consulting services to industry for the generation, distribution and management of electrical power. Services include:

• Power System Modelling and Analysis:  load flows, fault levels, protection, stability, earthing, harmonics and equipment rating.

• Design and Project Management:  feasibility studies, specifications, drawings, tendering, contract management and commissioning.

Power Generation
Power generation services are principally provided to mining operations, independent power producers, commercial complexes, remote communities and townships.  Specialist expertise includes: gas and steam turbine driven power stations; diesel and gas engine embedded generators; and renewable energy.

Power distribution services are principally provided to mining operations, commercial complexes, process plants and utilities.  Specialist expertise includes: network planning; substations; and powerlines.
